Filigraphy Seahorses Gelli Print

The Filigraphy Seahorses were another new addition this month. Like the balloons, I also loved these stamped simply in black and white.......

...............but for this card I decided to use the base Gelli print as their colour.

The Gelli print was created in vibrant blues and greens using the Seaweed Stencil. I then stamped the seahorses on top with Versamark Ink and heat embossed them in black. I went around the edges with a sponge and some blue ink to add some shadow.

They didn't stand out as much as I wanted them to though, so I covered them with Glossy Accents.

To emboss the Seaweed Frame I covered the stencil with Versamark Ink, placed it on the Gelli print, then ran it through my Grand Calibur.  This transferred the Versamark Ink to the print so that I could heat emboss it with Stampendous Jeweled Gold embossing powder.
