This is the card that I made for my Mum. You may recognise it as it's based on one of the demos that Barbara Gray did on TV this month. I loved it and had to have a go. I already know that Mum loved it too as she phoned at 8.30am this morning to say so! It's getting framed and going on the wall, so that's a nice result.
I chose peach (Adirondack Mountain Rose) for mine as it's very "Mum". If you want to see how to make it Barbara Gray has blogged hers here.
I made this one for my mother-in-law.
It's uses the same journaling stamps, only this time they're on a Samantha Walker 3D box card that I cut on my Cameo. The base card is K & Co double sided paper but I added more detail to it with the stamps.
Inside it has the beautiful Freesias stamp and Mother verse.
Some adhesive pearls and a dragonfly brad finish it off.
The stamps I've used are all by Clarity except for the round Mother's Day ones which are by Lili of the Valley.
I hope you all have a lovely day and "Happy Mother's Day" to my Mums. I was hoping that Maya would bring me breakfast in bed this morning but I was out of luck. Still, if by some miracle she had managed to make it, she'd only have eaten it on her way upstairs!

Both absolutely gorgeous, Lynne, and I'm sure very much appreciate.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. My two furry babies would have eaten it breakfast too lol x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, Lynne... I must have a 'go' at the journalling card it's so clever, I also love the box card. I had a silhouette for Christmas but as yet I can only manage the basics ... I need to play more!! As for furries making breakfast all I can say is I got up and made my own toast and coffee and Jasper mugged me for half of it!! he can smell toast being made from a mile off !! xx
ReplyDeleteWow stunning as always Lynne. I think we may be using these stamps at Janet Pring's workshop next Sunday so can't wait. I love the colour of the card, another adirondack on the shopping list! Happy Mother's day to all. Elaine Phillips x
