When he first said "How about Faith, Hope and Clarity?" I was like "Oh Dad!" but then when I thought about it I decided that I rather liked the idea. Thanks Dad. x
As it's all about Clarity I thought I'd incorporate as many different Clarity stamps as I could. The Double Bubble stencil and my Gelli plate were perfect for this.
It created a print with lots of little apertures that I could fill with different stamps.
The Gelli print was done in two layers. The first was made using pale turquoise acrylic paint and an alphabet stencil to imprint a pattern into it. Then I used a darker turquoise and the Double Bubble stencil to create the top layer with the apertures.
The images were stamped in Black Archival ink through the apertures in the stencil.
To finish off the background I added some shading around the edges with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.
I created a typical Clarity scene in the O of Hope and again used Peacock Feathers Distress ink around the edge.
I hope you like it. I was really pleased with this one. I've since done another version that I really want to share with you but it's for a birthday later in the month so we will have to wait a little while.
